2nd January 2012. Congratulations to all the Cliveden Cross Country finishers. It was a cold morning but we were blessed with glorious sunshine and many outstanding performances. First man home was Fabian Downs in 36’58″ and first lady Samantha Amend, 42’32″.  Burnham Joggers look forward to welcoming you again next year.

Weather is looking clear for Cliveden Cross Country on 2nd January 2012, some rain expected at the weekend. A small group of Burnham Joggers checked the course today and found a mostly firm and fast course. There is a slight change to the course at the end of the grass field where building works are taking place and another change shortly after the start to stay on tarmac for an additional 50m before taking a new path towards the water gardens. All the usual hazards remain: sharp corners, uneven ground, steep hills and 173 steps to be ascended twice!
