About Burnham Joggers
About Burnham Joggers
The club has a long history in the South Bucks area and has a reputation for welcoming runners of all abilities.
The club runs each Tuesday and Thursday evening throughout the year at 6.50pm, ready to leave on our runs at 7pm, from Huntswood Golf Club on Taplow Common Road, Burnham. We are fortunate to have some wonderful running on our doorstep including Burnham Beeches, the Jubilee River, the Thames Path plus exclusive private access to the Cliveden Estate on Thursday evenings during the summer.
We offer regular beginner courses to non members where people can improve their running skills over several weeks. We aim to get everyone up to 5k distance over the course and encourage people to stick with running after the course, ideally joining the club as full members. The club runs a club championship each year and a monthly 10k staggered jog competition.
We participate in the various Thames Valley running competitions each year which includes the 5k Summer Series and the Winter Cross Country series of events. These are fun but competitive events where we run with members of other clubs in the region and get to meet other runners – there’s a great social side to these events.
Members enjoy a great support network and are keen supporters of local parkruns and other running events.
We are also fortunate to be able to organise three of the most successful regional running events – all in fantastic settings – raising funds for local charities. Each of the Cliveden Cross Country, the Beaconsfield 5 Mile Trail and the Burnham Beeches Half Marathon are firm favourites in the local area.
Whatever you’re looking for from a local running club – come and see if we are right for you.

Jogging For Charity
Burnhan Joggers is a non-profit making organisation, so surplus funds (whilst maintaining a suitable level of cash reserves) are donated to charity. There are three ways in which we will donate to Charity. Please see the link below for more information. Click HERE for an Application Form. This is to be returned to email@example.com based on the timescale notified to members each year.
Burnham Joggers is affiliated to England Athletics and UK Athletics. We look to uphold the values and policies set out by them, including athlete welfare, inclusion, fair play and clean sport.
If you have any concerns about athlete welfare at the Club (or more widely in the case of a vulnerable adult), then you should talk with the Club’s Welfare Officer, Jenny Zaremba. Jenny can be contacted by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you have a complaint, we commit that this will be listened to, taken seriously and the Club’s committee will take responsibility for trying to resolve the issue to everyone’s satisfaction in a timely way. You should share the complaint with the Welfare Officer or the Chair (email: BJchairman@gmail.com).
