A number of trophies are awarded annually by the Club at a celebratory evening in the Autumn, after the end of the season.

Club Championship
Shields are awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female runners in the Club Championship, plus badges to all those completing seven events in the year to October.

Alan Watson Trophy – Simply the Best
Alan Watson was a long-standing member of Burnham Joggers, holding the posts of Membership Secretary, Secretary and Chair, as well as being heavily involved in organising the Club’s open events. This trophy was introduced the year he retired from the Chair and moved to Nottingham. It is awarded to the age and gender adjusted Club Champion. Shields are also awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.

Stan Tugwood Cup
The cup is named in memory of an original member who died of a blood condition. It is awarded to the member with the best age and gender adjusted marathon performance.

The reason for the trophy’s name is that Hugh Bergstron (an original Club member) was on holiday in Dublin and saw the cup. There was something wrong with it (lopsided) and it was cheap so he bought it for the club!
