Dublin Cup
Awarded to the Member over the age of 35 on 31st October who (in the view of the Committee) has improved the most over a full range of distances – 1 mile to Marathon.
The reason for the trophy’s name is that Hugh Bergstron (an original Club member) was on holiday in Dublin and saw the cup. There was something wrong with it (lopsided) and it was cheap so he bought it for the club!
