I’m looking forward to the start of the new Cross Country season on Sunday. The Eton run organised by Datchet Dashers is a great introduction to Cross Country, flat, straight-forward and even a road section. If you can, please let me know if you are coming for the first time or if you have changed from senior to vet since last year (35W/40M on 11Nov). A map can be found here. There is no venue parking, use pay and display car parks in Eton. Start time 11:00. Please register with your BJ rep (usually Charles or Alison) from 10:30 by the BJ flag. Entry fee £2. When you finish you will be given a disk. Return it to your BJ rep. Let’s make this our best season ever, Good Luck!

I know it is only £2, but I thought the club normally covers the entry fee for cross country races

The club has covered the fees for the last two years. As the TVXC has become more popular, especially the Club Championship events, it’s a substantial amount. If you do all the races it is worth much of your membership fee! I asked but didn’t get an answer and didn’t like to push it.
