Revised Scoring System for 2024-2025
This season only the monthly club parkruns will count towards the championship.
Attendance at a Club Parkrun – 10 points
Handicap adjusted seasonal PB – 5 point bonus
Highest percentage improvement against seasonal PB – 10 point bonus (one winner per month)
All individual times reported by parkrun are reduced by the appropriate course handicap figures given above. This adjustment (based on RunBritain’s handicapping system) is intended to reflect the relative difficulty of different parkruns, from Rickmansworth (easiest) to Church Mead (hardest) – giving a better comparison from month to month.
The winner of the parkrun trophy will be the individual with the most points at the end of the season. In the event of a tie there will be a tie-break of the best relative performance against seasonal PB at the final event of the season.
