A one mile race finishing on Lord Mayor’s Drive in Burnham Beeches. Whilst there is an element of serious competition involved, this is after all a Club Championship event; the Lord Mayor’s Mile is mainly a fun, family event and is followed by a picnic BBQ at the finish.
All members, new and old, fast and slow, young or not-so-young can run a mile, and the non-runners in your family will be welcome to run too. Bring your own food and drink if you like but cooking facilities and basic sustenance provided. Bottle prizes up for grabs. Don’t miss it!
