2nd January 2012. Congratulations to all the Cliveden Cross Country finishers. It was a cold morning but we were blessed with glorious sunshine and many outstanding performances. First man home was Fabian Downs in 36’58” and first lady Samantha Amend, 42’32”. Burnham Joggers look forward to welcoming you again next year.

Many thanks to all the Burnham Joggers volunteers who made the race so successful this morning. It was the first time I had enjoyed all the lovely views because in the past it’s been a rather dismal day!
Splendid morning – picturesque scenery my son even came first this year!! – only slight spoiler was that our carrier bags were taken from the Orangery. The clothes, mostly my wife’s are a bit small for most. If anyone “finds” the bags perhaps they could arrange return via “Burnham Joggers” Thanks
Thanks for having the energy/enthusiasm to hold the race again after the last two cancellations….most enjoyable and very well organised. A small question….was the distance in 2011 approx the same as 2008 (so I can compare my times!!).Looking fwd to the 2012 race.Thanks again.
Another beautiful day on what I think is one of the most fun courses – I always feel privileged to run there, and it frequently brings out the best in me. Many thanks to all the BJs who worked so hard to keep this event going after the disappointment of the last couple of years!
