Burnham Beeches
Coming soon now, the Lord Mayor’s Mile. It’s a fun, family oriented, Friday evening event with a one mile sprint thrown in. The race finishes on Lord Mayor’s Drive in Burnham Beeches, hence the name. After the run there is a picnic BBQ at the finish.
All members, new and old, fast and slow, young and not-so-young can run a mile, and the non-runners in your family will be welcome to run too. Tickets are a nominal £1 contribution towards the cooking facilities, salad, bread, water, beer, wine, juice provided by the club. BYO meat/fish/veg for the BBQ and drinks if you fancy a few.
