UPDATE:

Well done to all that turned up – we had a great turn out with 23 runners and the weather was very kind – sun and blue sky, though a bit chilly.

Mick’s taken a few photos and these should be available later in the week.

Results can be found here (or see Club Championships Page – Cross Country Points 2013-14).

Here are the details for the Datchet Cross Country:

Date: Sunday 10th November 2013
Time: 11:02
Place: The Brocas, Eton. Nearest postcode is SL4 6BW (Waterman’s Arms)

Please note that there is no parking at the venue and very limited parking in Eton, so we recommend car sharing where possible and using the pay & display car parks in Windsor.
Following complaints from residents, please ask your runners to make use of the public toilets in and around the car parks, or at least be very discreet on The Brocas.

A map can be found here showing the race route, plus locations of car parks and public toilets.

The official Council web site for the local car parks is here.

We will be holding the Remembrance Day 2 minute silence at 11 am, immediately before the race start.

There is a very minor change to the course compared to the last few years owing to engineering works on the viaduct, but it’s right at the end on the return to The Brocas and makes minimal difference to the distance.
The course is not suitable for spikes.

Finishing disks will be handed out to the finishers. Please return these disks to your club reps.

Good luck to everybody for the coming season.

Regards
