Directions
This is a new location for 2013/14 season. We are not running our recent Bearwood College venue. The new venue is Crowthorne Woods. Access is via the B3348 at Crowthorne. From the B3348 take Upper Broadmoor Road. At the end of this road there is a roundabout. At the roundabout turn left into Kentigern Drive. The car park is on the left after a short distance.
Parking
We are using the Broadmoor Hospital Car Park, as used for the Woodlands 5 Series and the Bounders Relay. Please share transport if possible.
Site Layout
Registration, enquiries, loos and refreshments will all be located in the car park area. The start and finish is in the woods adjacent to the car park and access is via a footpath at the western end of the car park. There is a strip of land beside the track at the start and finish which can be used for club banners / changing. Valuables should be locked in your car. Finishing discs will be handed out to the finishers. Please return these to your club reps.
Course
The course is in the same Woodland used for the Woodlands 5 Series and the Bounders Relay. It is on forest tracks. Some of the tracks are hard packed stones and spikes may not be a good idea. The course will be well marked and marshalled. The woodland is generally open and there will also be walkers, dog walkers and cyclists about. Please treat other users with respect.
