Although weather conditions were perfect for running, only 12 runners turned up for this month’s Staggered Jog. There was an event by the river that interested many members and they preferred this one to the Staggered Jog.
This month’s congratulations go to Nigel Sullivan for winning the candlesticks with a massive 12 mth. PB improvement of 10.42% arriving back at the finishing line well before anyone else was in sight.
Other runners who achieved personal bests were Annabel Heath and John Davies.
Many thanks go to Marc Bennett for helping with the registration and timing and also to Alan Watson for checking the times at the finish.
Welcome back again Dave Thomas who we have not seen for many months. He last attempted the Staggered Jog in April 2015. Let us hope we will see him more often.
The next Staggered Jog will take place on Sunday, 30 July 2017 at the normal time of 10-00am with registration at 9-30am. Hope to see you all there and a few more.
